Starter, Removing And Installing, Vehicles With 2.0L TDI Engine (Pr-Th3 Or TM4): Installing

Tightening specifications. Refer to OVERVIEW - STARTER [CAEB, CPMA, CPMB, CAED, CCBA, CGXC, CTUB] .

Install in reverse order of removal. Note The Following:

CAUTION:

There Is A Risk Of Damaging The Starter.

To tighten the bolt -2-, insert the spacer sleeve -arrow- between the starter and transmission.

-- Install the engine support and the right engine mount. Refer to the appropriate Service Information .

-- Install the particulate filter. Refer to appropriate service information. .

-- Connect the battery. Required actions. Refer to CONNECTING .
