Fender, Removing And Installing

Fender
- Removing:
  -- Remove the front wheel and wheel housing liner. Refer to OVERVIEW - FRONT WHEEL HOUSING LINER, AUDI RS5 .
  
  -- Remove the nuts -8- and remove the bumper cover mount -9- downward.
  
  -- Remove the end plate. Refer to END PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
  
  -- Remove bolts -2- on fender flange and on the A-pillar -4- and first remove the bottom of the fender from the fender brace.
  
  NOTE:
  If the fender cannot be separate downward from the fender brace, the fender brace nuts on the longitudinal member -item ) FENDER BRACE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING - Nut must be loosened first.
  
  Then press the fender brace upward and separate it from the fender.
  
  -- Pull the fender slightly to the side at the A-pillar and pull it down out of the headlamp mount guides.
  
  -- Pull the fender slightly to the side and lift it upward out of the fender flange.
- Install in reverse order of removal.

Blind Rivet
Rear Bracket
- Must be first riveted on new fender.
Front Bracket
- Must be first riveted on new fender.
Nuts
- 4 Nm
