Side Trim Panel, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Open the convertible top compartment cover.

-- Remove the sill panel. Refer to SILL PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the side trim panel insert. Refer to SIDE TRIM PANEL INSERT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bench seat. Refer to BENCH SEAT/SINGLE SEAT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the side cushion. Refer to SIDE CUSHION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the seat belt positioning arm. Refer to LEFT/RIGHT SEAT BELT POSITIONING MOTOR -V413- / -V414-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Push the linkage flap -3- forward and remove the screw -4-.

-- Release the rear seat backrest and fold it forward.

-- Remove the bolts -2- and -5-.

-- Remove the expanding clip -1-.

-- Unclip the side trim panel -1- starting at the bottom and the side -A arrows-.

-- Move the side trim panel slightly toward the center of the vehicle and disengage it from the top of the side panel -arrow B-.

-- Vehicles with treble speaker: disconnect the connector.

-- Remove the rear seat belt webbing from the rear seat belt guide.

-- Guide the front seat belt webbing with the belt tongue through the seat belt outlet trim and remove the side trim panel.
