Rear Lid Lower Trim Panel, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the emergency triangle bracket. Refer to EMERGENCY TRIANGLE BRACKET, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the rear lid latch trim panel. Refer to REAR LID LATCH TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

Vehicles With An Emergency Release Inside The Luggage Compartment:

-- Unclip the cover -1- on the release lever -2-.

-- Disengage the operating cable nipple -3- on the release lever.

-- Remove the screw behind the release lever.

-- Unclip the stop rails -1- using a screwdriver.

-- Remove the bolt -2-.

-- Pry out the rear lid trim panel -3- using the :80 - 200 -arrows-.

Vehicles with an Emergency Release Inside the Luggage Compartment:

-- Disengage the rear housing on the release lever handle recess.
