Brake Shield, Removing And Installing, 1LM: Installing

NOTE:

Clean Bolts Before Reusing

Replace Damaged Bolts

Always replace self-locking bolts.

-- Attach the brake shield with bolts -3- and tighten to 9 Nm.

-- Install the brake rotor. Refer to BRAKE ROTOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, 1LM .

Replace the bolts -1 and 13-.

NOTE:

When positioning the brake rotor, do not tilt it on the wheel hub.

-- Install the brake rotor bolt -1- and tighten it to 9 Nm.

-- Install the brake caliper. Refer to BRAKE CALIPER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, 1LM .

-- Install The Wheels.

Wheel bolt tightening specification. Refer to WHEEL BOLT TIGHTENING SPECIFICATIONS .

CAUTION:

After the first drive, depress brake pedal firmly several times with vehicle stationary so that the brake pads are properly seated in their normal operating position.

CAUTION:

Make sure the brakes are working correctly before driving the vehicle for the first time.
