Power E-Z Entry Seats

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2018 Lincoln Navigator. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

When the rear passenger door is open, the E-Z entry seats are activated by the associated seat switch (located in each C-pillar trim panel). When the SCMJ receives an input from the seat switch, it supplies voltage to an actuator which releases a latch, allowing the seat base to pitch up/forward. To return to a seating position, the seat must be manually latched to the floor. There are no serviceable components of the power E-Z entry system within the seat assembly. The actuator is serviced by installing a new seat frame assembly.
