Front Seat Backrest Blower Motor: Removal

  1. Depower the SRS. Refer to: Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) Depowering .
    1. On both sides.Detach the front seat backrest assembly from the backrest module retainers. Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover.
    2. On both sides.Detach the front seat backrest assembly from the backrest module retainers. Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover.
    3. Fold the upper portion of the front seat backrest to access the front seat backrest blower motor.

  2. Remove the front seat backrest blower motor.

    1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
    2. Rotate the front seat backrest blower motor 45 degrees clockwise to unlock it from the seat backrest carrier.
