Normal Operation and Fault Conditions 

The SCMG and SCMH communicate to the FCIM using the CAN.

DTC Fault Trigger Conditions 

DTC Description Fault Trigger Conditions
U0256:00 Lost Communication With Front Controls Interface Module "A": No Sub Type Information Set by the SCMG/ SCMH whenever it has lost communication to the FCIM for 5 seconds or longer while the SCMG/ SCMH input voltage is between 10 and 15.5 volts.
