Rear Spoiler: Removal

  1. Open the liftgate.

    Position the liftgate opening weather-strip aside.

    Release the clips and remove the liftgate opening upper trim panel.

  4. Disconnect the spoiler electrical harness.

    1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
    2. Detach the electrical harness retainer.
    3. Disconnect the rear window washer hose connection.

  5. Release the wiring harness grommet and route the spoiler harness out from vehicle.

  6. Open the liftgate window.

  7. Remove the spoiler mounting fasteners.

    • Remove the nuts.

      Torque: 12 lb.in (1.3 Nm)

    • Release the spoiler tabs using screwdriver.

  8. Remove the spoiler to liftagate window retainers.

    Torque: 15 lb.in (1.7 Nm)

  9. Remove the spoiler.
