Power Running Board (PRB) Motor: Removal

NOTE:
The power running board motor and drive bracket are serviced as an assembly.
- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to:Jacking And Lifting .

NOTE: LH side shown, RH side similar.
- Disconnect the PRB motor electrical connector.
- Disconnect the PRB lamp electrical connector.
- Detach the retainer and position aside the harness.
- Disconnect the PRB lamp harness retainers and position aside the harness.
Torque: 133 lb.in (15 Nm)

NOTE: LH side shown, RH side similar.NOTE: Support the running board with a jackstand.
- Disconnect the electrical connection.
Torque: 133 lb.in (15 Nm)
- Remove the running board mounting screws.
Torque: 133 lb.in (15 Nm)
- Disconnect the electrical connection.

- Remove the torque rod mounting screw.
Torque: 133 lb.in (15 Nm)
- Remove the hinge mounting nuts.
Torque: 133 lb.in (15 Nm)
- Remove the torque rod mounting screw.

- Disengage the motor drive shaft from the torque rod.
Torque: 133 lb.in (15 Nm)
- Remove the motor and bracket assembly.
Torque: 133 lb.in (15 Nm)
- Disengage the motor drive shaft from the torque rod.
