Steering Column Shrouds: Removal

Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
- Fully extend and lower the steering column.
- Release the tabs and position the gap hider aside. Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover
- Release the upper steering column shroud front tabs.
- Rotate the steering wheel 90 degrees to the left.
- Release the LH tab. Use the General Equipment: Flat-Bladed Screwdriver
- Rotate the steering wheel 180 degrees to the right.
- Release the RH tab. Use the General Equipment: Flat-Bladed Screwdriver
- Release the outer clips on each side and remove the steering column upper shroud. Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover
- Remove the lower steering column shroud bolts.
Torque: 22 lb.in (2.5 Nm)
- Remove the lower steering column shroud.
