Audio Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Module: Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
  1. NOTE: If installing a new module, it is necessary to upload the module configuration information to the scan tool prior to removing the module. This information must be downloaded into the new module after installation.

    Using the diagnostic scan tool, begin the PMI process for the DSP following the on-screen instructions..

  2. Remove the subwoofer speaker. Refer to: Subwoofer Speaker 
  3. Remove the DSP and bracket assembly.

    1. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
    2. Remove the screws and the DSP and bracket assembly.

      Torque: 62 lb.in (7 Nm)

    3. Disconnect the electrical connectors, separate the wire guide and remove the DSP harness.

  4. Remove the screws and the DSP.
