CHECK the operation of the backlighting system and make sure it operates correctly. If the backlighting system operates correctly, REVIEW the brightness settings in the IPC message center, the instrument panel illumination setting and the display brightness settings within the display menu. REVIEW the available settings with the vehicle owner and ADJUST the settings as necessary.
