Transmission Fluid Cooler: Installation

- Install the transmission fluid cooler.
- Slide the transmission fluid cooler on the coolant hose.
- Install the bolts.
Torque: 22 lb.ft (30 Nm)
- Position the coolant hose clamp.
- Connect the coolant hose to the transmission fluid cooler.
- Remove the clamps from the transmission fluid cooler coolant hoses.
- Connect the transmission fluid cooler outlet tube to the transmission fluid cooler.
- Install the transmission fluid cooler outlet tube secondary latch.
- Position the transmission fluid cooler outlet tube heat shield.
- Connect the transmission fluid cooler inlet tube to the transmission fluid cooler.
- Install the transmission fluid cooler inlet tube secondary latch.
- Position the transmission fluid cooler inlet tube heat shield.
- Check the transmission fluid level and adjust as necessary. Refer to: TRANSMISSION FLUID LEVEL CHECK .
- Check the engine coolant level and adjust as necessary. Refer to:COOLING SYSTEM DRAINING, VACUUM FILLING AND BLEEDING .
- Install the shield, the retainer and the bolts.
Torque: 71 lb.in (8 Nm)
