Transmission Support Insulator: Removal

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting .
  2. Remove the transmission support crossmember. Refer to: Transmission Support Crossmember .

    Rear Wheel Drive (RWD) vehicles 

  3. Remove the bolt and the LH isolator cap.

  4. Remove and discard the transmission support insulator bolts and washers.

  5. Remove the transmission support insulator.

    Four-Wheel Drive (4WD) vehicles 

  6. Remove the bolt and the LH isolator cap.

  7. Remove and discard the transmission support insulator bolts.
