Front Brake Flexible Hose: Removal

NOTE:
Make sure that all openings are sealed.
NOTE:
If the fluid is spilled on the paintwork, the affected area must be immediately washed down with cold water.
NOTE:
Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
All vehicles
- Remove the bolt and disconnect the brake hose. Discard the washers.
Torque: 30 lb.ft (40 Nm)
Rear wheel drive (RWD) vehicles

- Unclip the wheel speed sensor harness from the brake hose.
- Detach the wheel speed sensor wiring retainer.
- Disconnect the brake tube fitting.
Torque: 177 lb.in (20 Nm)
- Remove the brake hose bracket bolt.
Torque: 22 lb.ft (30 Nm)
- Remove the brake hose bracket bolt and the brake hose.
Torque: 22 lb.ft (30 Nm)
Four wheel drive (4x4) vehicles

- Unclip the wheel speed sensor harness from the brake hose.
- Detach the wheel speed sensor harness retainer.
- Detach the vacuum hose retainers and position aside the vacuum hose.

- Remove the brake hose bracket bolt and the brake hose.
Torque: 22 lb.ft (30 Nm)
- Disconnect the brake tube fitting.
Torque: 177 lb.in (20 Nm)
- Remove the brake hose bracket bolt.
Torque: 22 lb.ft (30 Nm)
- Remove the brake hose bracket bolt and the brake hose.
