Lower Trailing Arm: Installation

  1. NOTE: Only tighten the nut and bolts finger tight at this stage.

    1. Install the 2 new lower trailing arm-to-wheel knuckle bolts.
    2. Install the lower trailing arm and install the new lower trailing arm-to-frame bolt and flagnut.

  2. Install the wheel and tire. Refer to: Wheel and Tire .
  3. Lower the vehicle so that the weight of the vehicle is on the wheel and tire assemblies.
    1. Tighten the 2 new lower trailing arm-to-wheel knuckle bolts.

      Torque: 76 lb.ft (103 Nm)

    2. Tighten the new lower trailing arm-to-frame bolt and flagnut.

      Torque: 203 lb.ft (275 Nm)
