WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 9 other vehicles, including the 2018 Audi S6, 2018 Audi A6 Quattro, 2018 Audi A6, 2017 Audi S6, and 2017 Audi A6 Quattro. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Not enough refrigerant in refrigerant circuit

-- Determine refrigerant circuit leaks. Refer to LEAKS, FINDING .

-- Check the pressure relief valve. Refer to PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE .

If pressure relief valve has responded. Refer to PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE .

-- Check the activation of the radiator fan or the radiator fans. Use the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester in the "Guided Fault Finding" function of the A/C system.

-- On vehicles with shut-off valves for the refrigerant circuit, check the activation and function of this shut-off valve. Use the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester in the "Guided Fault Finding" function of the A/C system (and the battery regulation). Refer to the REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT [For engine(s) CTUA, CAED, CREH, CEUC, CTGE, CREC, CYNB, CPNB]

-- Check the refrigerant pipes and hoses for cross-section constrictions due to outer damage and inadequate bending radii. Refer to REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT [For engine(s) CTUA, CAED, CREH, CEUC, CTGE, CREC, CYNB, CPNB] and REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT [For engine(s) CTUA, CAED, CREH, CEUC, CTGE, CREC, CYNB, CPNB]

-- If no error is determined, clean the refrigerant circuit. Refer to REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT, CLEANING .
