Camshaft Position Sensor 3 -G300-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing
-- Remove the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Fire hazards and risk of damage for a faulty engine cover.
- The engine cover must be always be installed before the hood is closed.
- The engine may neither be started nor driven without an engine cover.
-- Remove the air duct hoses by loosening the hose clamps -2-.
-- Release the retainer -3- turn the air filter housing upper section -1- counter-clockwise in direction of -arrow B- and then remove it.
Ignore item -2 and arrow A-.
-- Loosen the clamp -1- and disconnect the hose from the EVAP canister.
-- Disconnect the connector -1- from the EVAP Canister Purge Regulator Valve 1 -N80-.
-- Remove the bolt -arrow-.
-- Disconnect the connectors -1 and 2-.
-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and move the mount -3- and wiring harness to the side.
-- Disconnect the vacuum hose -1-.
-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and then set the turbocharger vacuum pipe adjusting element aside.
Ignore item -2-.
-- Remove the bolt -arrow- and remove the camshaft position sensor -1-.
