Camshaft Position Sensor -G40-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

-- Remove the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

WARNING:

Fire hazards and risk of damage for a faulty engine cover.

  • The engine cover must be always be installed before the hood is closed.
  • The engine may neither be started nor driven without an engine cover.

-- Remove the air filter. Refer to appropriate service information

-- Disconnect the connectors:

  1. For Ignition Coil 4 with Power Output Stage -N292-
  2. For Camshaft Position Sensor -G40-

-- Remove the bolt -arrow- and remove the camshaft position sensor.
