Overview - Wheel Set, Reverse Drive Gear, Gearshift Mechanism

  1. Transmission Housing
    • With differential and pinion
    • Different versions
    • Allocate correct version
  2. Magnet
    • Clean off
  3. Plug
    • Quantity: 2
    • Depending on the version installed from MY 2012
    • Installation position. Refer to Fig 3
    • Omitted on transmissions with heater core, refer to -item 4-.
  4. Heat Exchanger
  5. O-Ring
    • Quantity: 2
    • For heat exchanger or plug
    • Always replace.
    • Install in the front groove on the plug or heat exchanger
  6. O-Ring
    • Quantity: 2
    • For transmission fluid heater or plug
    • Always replace.
    • Install in the rear groove on the plug or heat exchanger
  7. Oil Catch Tray
    • Clipped into the bearing bracket and the gearshift rail/shift fork for 3rd and 4th gears
  8. Gear Set
  9. Reverse Drive Gear
    • With support/reverse shaft
    • Reverse drive gear assembly overview; refer to. Refer to Fig 2

1 - Thrust Washer

2 - Needle Bearing

3 - Reverse Drive Gear

Installed position: The shoulder -arrow- faces the transmission housing.

4 - Reverse shaft support

NOTE:

For transmission housing equipped with internal transmission fluid heating, it will be equipped with plug -1- in the transmission housing -4- instead of a heat exchanger.

Always replace the o-rings -2 to 3-.
