Clutch Release Mechanism, Servicing: Installing

-- Clean the guide sleeve -6- and install together with the locking plate -5-.

NOTE:

The securing plate -5- is omitted when a new guide sleeve -6- is installed.

-- Clean the screw threads -4- with a wire brush. Insert the bolts with Locking Fluid AMV 185 101 A1 and tighten. Tightening specification. Refer to -item 6- Bolt (See Figure).

CAUTION:

>>Rattling noises<< when using the clutch.

Apply Grease G 000 150 to the clutch release lever bearing areas, Refer to -item 5- Clutch Release Lever (See Figure).

-- Engage the release bearing -2- and the spring -3- into the clutch release lever -1- and install them both.
