I - Synchronizer rings coated with molybdenum grease 

• Identification: the synchronizer ring has oil pockets -arrows- and the friction surface -A- looks graphite gray and slightly porous.

II - Synchronizer rings coated with carbon 

• Identification: The friction surface -B- looks black and porous; the upper area is not coated.

Locking collar for synchronizer rings coated with molybdenum grease (See Fig 1). .

I  - Locking collar without chamfer and with a groove -arrow-.

• Locking collar -I- - >>old version<< - is no longer installed

II  - Locking collar with chamfer -arrows 1- on both sides of the shift fork grooves.

• Locking collar -II- - >>new version<< - is currently installed
