Mounting the 2.0L TFSI Engine to Transmission

A Alignment sleeves for centering
  1. Also secures the starter.
  2. Bolt strength rating 10.9 There is no limit to the number of times the steel bolt can be used again.
  3. Audi A4 through VIN 8K-9A-066499, Audi A5 through VIN 8T-9A-007999: replace the aluminum bolts.
  4. Audi A4 from VIN 8K-9A-066500, Audi A5 from VIN 8T-9A-008000: the aluminum bolts may be used two times (1), (2).
  5. attaches the engine to the transmission.
(1) Audi A4 from VIN 8K-9A-066500, Audi A5 from VIN 8T-9A-008000: the aluminum bolts -2 through 11- may be used two times. Therefore, the bolts must be marked with two notches "X" made by a chisel after they have be used the first time -arrow-.

(2) To prevent damaging the bolts when marking them, do not clamp them in a vise. Insert the bolt using a 14 mm socket with a 1/2 inch drive, which is inserted in to the vise, as illustrated (See Fig 2).
