CAUTION:

Danger of causing damage to the differential.

  • If the differential has fallen out and the ring gear or the differential housing is damaged, do not install it. On a damaged differential, the transmission housing with the ring gear installed must be replaced. The tapered roller bearing on the4 differential can be replaced.

-- Carefully remove the differential -arrow- and lay it on a soft support.
