Installation [08/2013 - ]

  1. INSTALL REAR SPOILER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    HINT: 

    When installing a new rear spoiler sub-assembly, heat the vehicle body and rear spoiler sub-assembly using a heat light.

    Heating Temperature

    Item Temperature
    Vehicle Body 40 to 60°C (104 to 140°F)
    Rear Spoiler Sub-assembly 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)
    NOTE:

    Do not heat the vehicle body or rear spoiler sub-assembly excessively.

    1. Clean the vehicle body surface.
      1. Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body surface.
      2. Remove the double-sided tape from the vehicle body.
      3. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.
    2. Install the rear spoiler sub-assembly.
      1. Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body and a new rear spoiler sub-assembly.
      2. Remove the release paper from the rear spoiler sub-assembly.

        HINT: 

        After removing the release paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

      3. Engage the 3 clips.

      4. Install the new rear spoiler sub-assembly with the 2 nuts.

  3. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSIST GRIP  . Refer to REASSEMBLY [08/2013 - ] - Step 27
  4. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE  . Refer to REASSEMBLY [08/2013 - ] - Step 28
  5. INSTALL LUGGAGE LOCK CONTROL CABLE PLATE  . Refer to REASSEMBLY [08/2013 - ] - Step 29
