Installation [08/2013 - ]

INSTALL MOTOR CABLE
WARNING:
Wear insulated gloves.
NOTE:
- Do not damage the terminals, connector housings or inverter with converter assembly when connecting them.
- Do not touch the connector waterproofing rubber or terminals.
- Do not allow any foreign matter or water to enter the inverter with converter assembly.
1. Clean and degrease the bolt holes.
2. Install the motor cable to the hybrid vehicle transaxle assembly with 4 new bolts.
  Torque: 8.5 N*m (87 kgf*cm, 75 in.*lbf)
3. Connect the 2 clamps to the No. 3 automatic transmission case cover in the order shown in the illustration.

4. Install the motor cable to the hybrid vehicle transaxle assembly with the bolt.
  Torque: 8.0 N*m (82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf)
5. Connect the clamp to the hybrid vehicle transaxle assembly.
6. Connect the motor cable to the inverter with converter assembly.
7. Connect the 3 motor cable clamps.
8. Using an insulated tool, install the motor cable to the inverter with converter assembly with the 3 bolts.
  Torque: 8.0 N*m (82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf)
  NOTE:
  - The connector should be connected securely.
  - The bolts should be fastened securely.
