Overview - Rear Wheel Housing Liner, Except AUDI RS 4

Special tools and workshop equipment required 

• Locking Pliers VAS6199

-- Use to loosen the clips on the wheel housing liner.

1. Rear Wheel Housing Liner
   • Removing:

     -- The rear wheel is removed.

     -- Remove the outer bolts.

     -- Remove the clips from the retaining pins.

     -- Remove wheel housing liner downward.

   • Install in reverse order of removal.
2. Bolts
   • 2 Nm
3. Clip
   • Quantity: 9
     NOTE:

     After removing the wheel housing liner, the clips must be replaced.

Release the Clip

-- To remove the clips -3-, unlock the release lever -2- with needle nose pliers in direction of -arrow A- and push it off the pin -1- in direction of -arrow B-.

-- The Locking Pliers VAS6199 may also be alternatively used to release the clips.
