Right Instrument Panel Fuse Holder, Removing and Installing
Removing
- With ignition switched off, disconnect battery Ground (GND) wire → Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting .
- Remove glove compartment → 68 - INTERIOR EQUIPMENT .
- Remove bolts - 1 - of fuse box - 2 -.
- Release retainer tabs and detach fuse box from instrument panel central tube.
- Cut cable tie - 1 -.
- Release cover for fuse holder - arrows -.
- Remove fuses on fuse holder.
- Remove retaining strip for harness connectors - arrows - and remove harness connectors from fuse holder.
- Unclip socket - 1 -.
NOTE:
- For the exact assignment of right instrument panel fuse holder refer to the current wiring diagram → Electrical Wiring Diagrams, Troubleshooting and Component Locations.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:
NOTE:
- Re-attach all cable ties at the same locations when re-installing.
- Install glove compartment → 68 - INTERIOR EQUIPMENT .
- Connect battery. Required actions → Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting .
