Ribbed Belt, Removing And Installing, Vehicles With Electro-Mechanical Power Steering: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

Tightening specification: Refer to OVERVIEW - SUPERCHARGER RIBBED BELT DRIVE .

-- Place the ribbed belt over the pulley as illustrated.

Generator
Idler roller
Coolant pump
A/C compressor
Ribbed belt tensioner
Vibration damper

NOTE:

When installing the ribbed belt, make sure it is seated correctly on the pulleys.

-- Install the left front coolant pipes. Refer to FRONT LEFT COOLANT PIPES, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Start the engine and check the belt routing.

-- Install the supercharger ribbed belt. Refer to SUPERCHARGER RIBBED BELT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
