DTC P0AC0-123: Hybrid Battery Pack Current Sensor Circuit Range / Performance [08/2013 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (HYBRID CONTROL) 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
    3. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Trouble Codes.
    4. Read output DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [08/2013 - ] .

      Result

      Result Proceed to
      P0AFC-123 or P0A95-123 is not output. A
      P0AFC-123 or P0A95-123 is also output. B
    5. Turn the power switch off.
    6. Disconnect the Techstream from the DLC3.

    B → GO TO DTC CHART (HYBRID BATTERY SYSTEM) 

    A: Go to next step 

  2. REPLACE HYBRID BATTERY JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to COMPONENTS [08/2013 - ]

    NEXT: Go to next step 

  3. CLEAR DTC (HYBRID CONTROL) 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
    3. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Trouble Codes.
    4. Clear the DTCs and freeze frame data. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [08/2013 - ] .
    5. Perform a road test to charge and discharge the HV battery.

      HINT: 

      2 trip detection logic is used. After the first road test, turn the power switch off and perform a road test again.

    6. Turn the power switch off.
    7. Disconnect the Techstream from the DLC3.

    NEXT: Go to next step 

  4. RECONFIRM DTC OUTPUT (HYBRID CONTROL) 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
    3. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Trouble Codes.
    4. Read output DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [08/2013 - ] .

      Result

      Result Proceed to
      P0AC0-123 is not output. A
      P0AC0-123 is output. B
    5. Turn the power switch off.
    6. Disconnect the Techstream from the DLC3.

    B → See step   5 

    A → RECOVERY TO NORMAL 

  5. REPLACE BATTERY SMART UNIT. Refer to  COMPONENTS [08/2013 - ]
