Entire Combination Meter does not Operate [10/2013 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY CIRCUIT) 
    1. Disconnect the D9 combination meter assembly connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      D9-7 (ES) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      D9-13 (IG+) - Body ground Engine switch off Below 1 V
      Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      D9-1 (B) - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V

    NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK → See step   2 

  2. REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [10/2013 - ]
