Left Camshaft Timing Chain

1. Thrust Washer
   • For the drive chain sprocket.
2. Bolt
   • Tightening specification, refer to -item  4- Timing Mechanism Drive Chain Overview.
3. Bolt
   • 5 Nm + 90°
   • Replace
4. Guide Rail
   • Pay attention to the installed position.
5. Bolt
   • 5 Nm + 90°
   • Replace
6. Chain Tensioner
   • For the left camshaft control chain.
7. Bolt
   • 23 Nm
8. Camshaft Chain Sprocket
   • For the intake camshaft.
   • Installation position: the side with the writing on it faces forward.
9. Left Camshaft Timing Chain
   • Remove from the camshafts. Refer to CAMSHAFT TIMING CHAINS, REMOVAL FROM CAMSHAFTS .
   • Before Removal, mark the direction of rotation with paint.
   • Removing and Installing. Refer to CAMSHAFT TIMING CHAIN, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
10. Bolt
    • 5 Nm + 90°
    • Replace
    • With sleeve
11. Tensioning Rail
12. Bracket
    • For the drive chain sprocket.
13. Bolt
    • Tightening specification, refer to -Item 1o-  TIMING MECHANISM DRIVE CHAIN OVERVIEW.
14. Drive Chain Sprocket
    • For the left camshaft control chain.

Right Camshaft Timing Chain

1. Bolt
   • Tightening specification, refer to -item  2- Timing Mechanism Drive Chain Overview.
2. Mounting Pin
   • For the drive chain sprocket.
3. Right Camshaft Timing Chain
   • Remove from the camshafts. Refer to CAMSHAFT TIMING CHAINS, REMOVAL FROM CAMSHAFTS .
   • Before Removal, mark the direction of rotation with paint.
   • Removing and Installing. Refer to CAMSHAFT TIMING CHAIN, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
4. Camshaft Chain Sprocket
   • For the intake camshaft.
   • Installation position: the side with the writing on it faces forward.
5. Bolt
   • 23 Nm
6. Chain Tensioner
   • For the right camshaft timing chain.
7. Bolt
   • 5 Nm + 90°
   • Replace
8. Thrust Washer
   • For the drive chain sprocket.
9. Drive Chain Sprocket
   • For the right camshaft timing chain.
