Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 4 -G648-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removal

-- On a vehicle with air suspension, activate vehicle lift mode. Refer to VEHICLE LIFT MODE .

-- Carefully pull the engine cover off the 4 bolts one after the other -arrows-.

-- Remove the bolts -1- and -2- and then remove the heat shield from the turbocharger.

-- Disconnect the -4- Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 4 -G648- brown connector.

-- Free up the electrical wire.

NOTE:

Ignore -item 1, 2 and 3-.

-- Remove the noise insulation -1- and -2-. Refer to NOISE INSULATION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove and free up the Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 4 -G648- -arrow-.
