Left Exhaust Manifold, Removing And Installing: Removal

-- Remove the left intermediate pipe. Refer to LEFT INTERMEDIATE PIPE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

NOTE:

Place a cloth underneath to soak up any escaping power steering fluid.

-- Disconnect the power steering pump hydraulic hose and Hose Clamps - Up To 25mm 3094.

-- Loosen the hose clamp -1- and remove the power steering fluid hose.

NOTE:

Ignore -item 2-.

-- Remove the banjo bolt -1- and screw -2- and lay the power steering fluid line to the side.

NOTE:

Place a cloth underneath to soak up any escaping power steering fluid.

-- Clamp off the power steering pump hydraulic hose -1- with a Hose Clamps - Up To 25mm 3094.

-- Remove the bolts -2- and move the hydraulic line to the rear.

All Vehicles:

-- Seal any open lines and connections with a clean plug from the Engine Bung Set VAS 6122.

-- Remove nuts -arrows- and remove the exhaust manifold.
