Left Intake Manifold Lower Part, Removing And Installing: Removing

WARNING:

Follow the guidelines for a clean working environment when working on the fuel system. Refer to CLEAN WORKING CONDITIONS AND FUEL SYSTEM WORK INSTRUCTIONS .
Always follow these rules before and during work.

-- Remove the intake manifold upper section. Refer to INTAKE MANIFOLD UPPER SECTION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Press the connecting rod -2- off the Intake Flap Motor 2 -V275- -arrow-.

NOTE:

Carefully press the connecting rod off the ball studs.

-- Disconnect the connector -1-.

-- Remove the bolts -3- and then remove the Intake Flap Motor 2 -V275- -4-.

-- Disconnect the glow plug connectors from cylinders 4, 5 and 6.

-- Remove the EGR Cooler Switch-Over Valve -N345- -1- from the bracket.

-- Remove the bolt -4-.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.

-- Loosen the clamp -arrow- and remove the exhaust gas recirculation pipe -1-.

-- Remove the lower part of the intake manifold.

NOTE:

Seal the intake channels in cylinder head using a clean rag.
