High Pressure Pump, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the intake manifold upper section. Refer to INTAKE MANIFOLD UPPER SECTION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the high pressure pump toothed belt. Refer to HIGH PRESSURE PUMP TOOTHED BELT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and the high pressure line protective plate.

-- Remove the union nuts -1 through 4- and free up the high pressure lines.

-- Disconnect the connector -3-.

-- Remove the fuel supply hose -1- and return hose -2-.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and remove the high pressure pump.
