Fuel Cooler Pump -V166-, THROUGH 05/2010, REMOVING AND INSTALLING

Special tools and workshop equipment required 

Removal

-- On a vehicle with air suspension, activate vehicle lift mode. Refer to VEHICLE LIFT MODE .

-- Remove the front noise insulation -1-. Refer to NOISE INSULATION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Disconnect the connector -1-.

-- Loosen the hose clamps -3- and -4- and remove the coolant hoses and clamps Hose Clamps - Up To 25mm3094.

-- Remove the bolt -2- and the Fuel Cooler Pump -V166-.

Installation

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

NOTE:

Secure all hose connections with hose clamps of the same type as those equipped by the factory .

-- Tighten the Fuel Cooler Pump -V166- to the longitudinal member, refer to Figure.

-- Check the coolant level, refer to COOLANT, DRAINING AND FILLING .

-- Install the noise insulation. Refer to NOISE INSULATION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- On a vehicle with air suspension, deactivate vehicle lift mode. Refer to VEHICLE LIFT MODE .
