Left Suction Jet Pump, Removing And Installing, Vehicles With 6.0L (V12) Engine: Removing

Follow all safety precautions, refer to WORKING ON FUEL SYSTEM .

Follow the guidelines for clean working conditions, refer to CLEAN WORKING CONDITIONS .

-- Remove the left fuel delivery unit, refer to Fuel Pump - G23-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, 6.0L (V12) ENGINE .

-- Reach though the opening on the right side of the fuel tank, press the releases and disconnect the delivery line -3-.

NOTE:

Ignore -items 1 and 2-.

-- Reach into the fuel tank opening, press the locking tab -arrow 1- and remove the Fuel Level Sensor 2 -G169- -item 3- from the guide -4- -arrow 2-.

-- Carefully remove the Fuel Level Sensor 2 -G169- through the fuel tank opening.

-- Reach through the opening in the fuel tank and pull the delivery line out through the opening on the left side of the fuel tank.

-- Press the tab -arrow 1- and pull the suction jet pump out of the guide -arrow 2-.

NOTE:

The suction jet pump is illustrated without the fuel tank.

-- Remove suction jet pump carefully through the opening in the fuel tank.
