Selector Mechanism Shift Unit, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

Tightening specifications: SHIFT MECHANISM, SERVICING, ASSEMBLY OVERVIEW 

-- Insert selector mechanism shift unit from above into opening.

• Ensure seal is seated correctly on selector mechanism shift unit.

-- Insert selector lever cable -3- through hole in selector mechanism shift unit.

-- Tighten the bolts -arrows-.

-- Install the hooks -1- and -2-.

-- Carefully insert boot -arrow- on selector lever cable all around in selector mechanism shift unit.

-- Install shift mechanism function unit SHIFT MECHANISM FUNCTION UNIT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
