Upper Coolant Pipe On Engine, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

Tightening specifications. Refer to OVERVIEW - COOLANT PIPE ON ENGINE .

NOTE:

Replace the O-ring.

Secure all hose connections with standard production hose clamps. .

-- Clean and/or smooth the sealing surfaces of the O-rings.

-- Coat the O-ring with coolant and slide it onto the coolant pipe.

-- Install the intake manifold. Refer to INTAKE MANIFOLD .

-- Install the turbocharger. Refer to TURBOCHARGER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Connect the coolant hose to the coupling Figure.

-- Fill with coolant. Refer to COOLANT, DRAINING AND FILLING .
