Sealing Flange, Removing And Installing, Belt Pulley Side: Removing
-- Drain the coolant. Refer to COOLANT, DRAINING AND FILLING .
-- Remove the vibration damper. Refer to VIBRATION DAMPER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Disconnect the connector -1- and remove the EGR Cooler Switch-Over Valve -N345- from the mount.
-- Disconnect the connector -2-.
-- Remove the bolt -3-.
-- Remove the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR). Refer to EXHAUST GAS RECIRCULATION (EGR) COOLER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the ribbed belt tensioner. Refer to RIBBED BELT TENSIONER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the front coolant pipe. Refer to FRONT COOLANT PIPE ON ENGINE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the oil filter element.
-- Remove the bolt -1- and the oil dipstick tube.
Ignore items -2 and 3-.
-- Remove the bolts -arrows- for the coolant pump ribbed belt pulley using a Wrench - Pin Type3212 to counterhold.
-- Remove the bolts and remove the ribbed belt pulley.
-- Disconnect the connector -1- on the Oil Temperature Sensor 2 -G664-.
Ignore item -2-.
-- Disconnect the connectors -2, 3 and 4-.
-- Remove the bolt -arrow-.
-- Loosen the clamp -1- and remove the coolant hose.
-- Remove the cover -1-.
-- Remove the bolt -2- and remove the idler roller.
-- Remove the engine oil cooler thermostat. Refer to ENGINE OIL COOLER THERMOSTAT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Loosen and remove the bolts in the following sequence: -23 to 1-.
-- Remove the upper coolant hose -arrow- from the belt pulley side sealing flange and then remove the sealing flange.
-- Remove the crankshaft seal on the removed sealing flange.
