Shift Lock Solenoid -N110-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Installing

Selector lever in "S".

-- Unclip the guide for the emergency release lever in direction of -arrow-.

-- Remove the emergency release lever -arrow- upward.

NOTE:

The operating lever -1- for the Shift Lock Solenoid -N110- moves into its installed position when the emergency release lever is pulled up.

-- At the same time, position the Shift Lock Solenoid -N110- into the guide at an angle.

-- Push the Shift Lock Solenoid -N110- into the guide until it clicks.

The ball head -2- on the Shift Lock Solenoid -N110- must fit into the operating lever on the selector mechanism.

-- Connector the connector -1-.

Check the function of the Shift Lock Solenoid -N110- before continuing the assembly.

-- Before completing the assembling, check the function of the Shift Lock Solenoid -N110- with the selector lever in "P" and "N". Refer to GEARSHIFT MECHANISM, CHECKING .

Further installation is done in reverse order of removal, similar to installation of selector mechanism function unit. Refer to SHIFT MECHANISM FUNCTION UNIT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
