Selector Lever "P" Position Locking Lever, Removing And Installing: Installing

-- Insert the locking lever and secure it with the left and right bushings -2-.
-- Make sure the locking lever is working correctly.
- The emergency release lever -arrow- must move easily and can be moved up and down.
NOTE:
If will be difficult to move emergency release lever -arrow- if the bushings are installed incorrectly.
If the emergency release lever is difficult to move, ignition key removal lock will not work.
Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

Coat the bearings and the sliding surfaces with Polycarbamide GreaseG 052 142 A2.
-- Install the shift gate. Refer to SHIFT GATE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
