NOTE:

In order to install the selector lever handle, the locking button must be pulled out all the way and secured either with a cable tie -arrow- or with the assembly tool supplied with a new handle.

If the lock button was not secured, do not pull it out from the handle using mechanical aids. Position the compressed air gun under the handle and press the locking button out with compressed air.

-- Install the shifter lever handle completely on the shifter lever. The lock button faces toward the driver.

-- Remove cable tie or assembly aid, lock button mechanism engages in vertical groove on selector lever.

-- If necessary, press lock button back into selector lever handle.

-- Attach the selector lever handle -2- to the selector lever using the clamp -arrow-. Use the Hose Clip PliersVAG1275A for this.
