ATF PREHEATER, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

Clean the ATF cooler and the ATF pipes if the ATF is dirty as well as before installing a replacement transmission. Refer to ATF PIPES AND ATF COOLER, CLEANING .

-- Bolt the ATF pre-heater -arrows- to the transmission, install the coolant pipes on the transmission and connect with the coolant hoses.

-- Remove the plug and insert the ATF pipes all the way into the transmission.

-- Install the ATF pipes. Refer to ATF PIPES AND ATF COOLER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

Install in reverse order of removal.

Check the ATF level and fill if necessary. Refer to ATF LEVEL INSIDE TRANSMISSION .

-- Fill with coolant. Refer to COOLANT, DRAINING AND FILLING .
