Fuel Injector Seal, Replacing

Special tools and workshop equipment required 

• Injector/Combustion Chamber Seal Tool SetT10133B
• Socket - 24mmT10361
• Puller - Shaft SealT40195

Procedure

-- Remove the fuel injector in question. Refer to FUEL RAIL, HIGH PRESSURE LINES, FUEL INJECTORS OVERVIEW .

-- Install the Puller - Shaft SealT40195 into the seal -1-.

-- Attach the Injector/Combustion Chamber Seal Tool Set - Sliding HammerT10133/3 to the seal puller with the Injector/Combustion Chamber Seal Tool Set - PullerT10133/2 as shown in the illustration and remove it by tapping it upward.

-- Install the new fuel injector seal all the way with the Socket - 24mmT10361 and the short extension -1-.

-- Install the fuel injector. Refer to FUEL RAIL, HIGH PRESSURE LINES, FUEL INJECTORS OVERVIEW .
