-- Activate the vehicle lift mode if the vehicle has air suspension. Refer to Self-Leveling Suspension .

-- Remove the bolts and the rear noise insulation -2-.

-- Position the Engine/Gearbox JackVAG1383A with the Engine/Gearbox Jack - Gearbox SupportT10337 under the transfer case.

-- Remove the bolts -1 and 2- from the Engine/Gearbox Jack - Gearbox Support.

-- Lower the transfer case slightly.

-- Remove the Engine/Gearbox Jack - Gearbox Support from the transfer case bracket -arrows-.
