Left Catalytic Converter, Removing And Installing: Removing

NOTE:

When installing, bring all cable ties back to same positions.

-- Loosen the hose clamps -arrows- and lay the air guide pipe aside with the vacuum hose -1- connected.

-- Remove the left front muffler. Refer to FRONT MUFFLER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the connector -3- for the Oxygen Sensor 2 after Catalytic Converter -G131- from the bracket on the right suspension strut tower, then disconnect it and free up the heated oxygen sensor.

NOTE:

Ignore items -1, 2 and 4-.

-- Remove the bolts -1 and arrows- and then remove the bracket -2- for the catalytic converter.

NOTE:

The bolt -1- is accessible from the top.

-- Remove the nuts -arrows- and then remove the catalytic converter.
