Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 3 -G495-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

-- Carefully pull the engine cover off the four retaining pins one after the other in direction of -arrows-.

Vehicles without a Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) catalytic converter:

-- Disconnect the -4- Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 3 -G448- connector.

-- Lay the wires underneath.

WARNING:

When working on the whole exhaust system:

-- Remove the Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 3 -G495- -arrow-.

Vehicles with a SCR Catalytic Converter

-- Remove the connectors -arrow- from the bracket, disconnect them and then free up the wires.

-- Remove the rear noise insulation -2-. Refer to NOISE INSULATION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 3 -G495- -1-.
